Hello all, for anyone who has questions or concerns about the possibility of a dam or other river projects in our area, here is a webinar being held where they will talk about the possibilities being discussed. Save the date for upcoming webinar 

Join us for an update on the solutions currently being considered by the Chehalis Basin Board to reduce damage from major and catastrophic floods. This one-hour webinar will include updates about:

• The proposed flow-through flood control dam on the Chehalis River near Pe Ell, proposed by the Chehalis River Basin Flood Control Zone District

  
  

• The Local Actions Non-Dam Alternative (LAND) effort to develop a suite of recommended actions that the Board will consider to reduce flood damages across the upper Basin, with or without building a flood control dam on the Chehalis River

  
  

• Next steps in the process and the development of the long-term strategy— the policies, programs, and projects that will create net improvement for Chehalis Basin people and aquatic life in the Chehalis Basin over the next 30+ years
