The Boistfort Lions are generously covering registration fees for Boistfort kids that sign up for baseball or fastpitch for 2025!

Boistfort Youth Athletics Association (BYAA) organizes youth baseball / fastpitch (softball) for the children of Boistfort. Sign ups take place in February. For baseball, practices start in April, and games go from mid-May to the end of June. Softball practices start in March, and games go April through May.

Our teams are broken down as follows, though this is a little flexible depending on the number and ages of kids that sign up. Because we are a small district, boys and girls are often combined into one baseball team. If we have enough boys and/or girls separate baseball and fastpitch teams will be made. If there are not enough kids signed up around a certain age to form a team they will be referred to Adna or PeEll, but we do our best to have kids play for Boistfort! ​

T-ball: Preschool to 1st Grade (5-7 yo)
Rookies / 8U: 2nd and 3rd Grade (7-9 yo)
Minors / 10U: 3rd and 4th Grade (9-10 yo)
Majors 60 / 12U: 4th, 5th, and 6th Grade (10-12 yo)
Majors 70: 5th and 6th Grade (11-12 yo)
Babe Ruth: 7th, 8th, and 9th Grade (13-14 yo)

We do our best to keep the cost of participating reasonable, but we want every child in Boistfort to have the opportunity to play! If your family cannot afford registration, please talk to AJ about possible scholarships. Registration fees include a team shirt, socks, and hat. Your child will also need pants, cleats, bat, mitt, and helmet. We also have an equipment exchange so each child who signs up for baseball will have to opportunity to pick up equipment they need! Our goal is to save families the cost and hassle of both always buying new equipment and of getting rid of it when your child outgrows it. ​
